Dr. Maegan Hebert was born and raised in Metairie. She graduated valedictorian from East Jefferson High School and went on to get her Bachelor's Degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from Tulane University.
She attended LSU School of Veterinary Medicine and became a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2020. Dr. Maegan's special interests are wellness and preventative medicine and dermatology. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.
She had always had a passion for animals and started working with rescue animals when she was 11. From that connection, she moved further into the pet community by working at a local feed store, where her desire to help animals thrived. From there, she realized she wanted to help animals more and decided to go into one of the greatest professions in the world, veterinary medicine.
Dr. Maegan lives in Metairie with her husband, Ryan, and their four dogs (2 chihuahuas - KiKi and Pico, and two dachshunds - Rigatoni and Talullah. She enjoys scrapbooking, crocheting, and spending time with her dogs in her free time.
